Originally this shoot was going to be called Almost Famous, inspired by my all time favorite movie starring Kate Hudson, Billy Crudup and Phillip Seymour Hoffman. After seeing this epic film, I became obsessed with the music and fashion of the 60's--buying YES cd's and aviator glasses...I know...a bit much. So when I got the opportunity to style a 60's shoot, I jumped on it and automatically thought of the Queen St. bar the Cameron House for the location. This live music hot spot has a great stage, where I have seen many a band perform as I proclaimed that I myself was their Penny Lane, ornate furniture, and an amazingly colorful painted brick exterior. While 60's was the intention, I was led astray while shopping. The 60's style still rings through, but their is a very strong all american look enhanced all the more by the red, white and blue paint that adorns the Cameron House exterior. A special thanks to the boys who run the Cameron House!
